Even more variety.

Senior Camp offers the kind of variety and options that rising fifth, and sixth graders enjoy.  In the context of a full recreational summer program, the underlying theme in Senior Camp, Time Travel, has campers making crafts, playing games, and participating in special events, all while learning about the cultures and time periods they “visit.”

Mini-academies provide time for "present day" elective activities like arts & crafts, music, drama, martial arts, nature, archery, basketball, soccer and baseball.  These are longer periods, great for really getting into the project or game.

A typical week in Senior Camp

  • camp activities and fun throughout the week. PLUS

  • two full day trips.

  • a "Time Traveling" special event.

  • one swim session at the pool..

  • Mini academies twice a week.

  • a trip to the beach (a few times during the summer.)

Activities may be substituted with special events and performances.

Even more trips.

Seniors travel twice a week to a wide variety of destinations ranging from cultural and learning centers like theater, museums, and zoos to recreational activities such as skating, water and amusement parks, and ball games.

Overnight

Our annual three day, two night trip to Club Getaway, a top-notch residential camp in the Berkshires, is always a popular choice for our campers.  Solid camp friendships and close relationships with the staff give our Senior Campers the confidence they need to enjoy what for many is a first overnight camp experience.  Travel is by first-class coach bus.

This trip is optional.

Add weeks in Sports Academy or a session of Take the Stage

Would your child enjoy a couple of weeks of sports instruction or are they ready to put on a show? We do both!

In Sports Academy, campers can enjoy both a traditional day camp experience and an athletic skills camp all in one.

In Take the Stage, campers are immersed in creative activities in the arts (song, dance, and drama) and stagecraft, with a sprinkle of traditional camp too.  Sessions end with the campers taking the stage in a gala performance.
